Spring and the Bluebonnets

Did I mention.......

Jeremy surprised me with tickets to an amazing weekend getaway this past Christmas. It was for "Pink" a Women's Conference held each year here in the Dallas area at Gateway church. Several ladies from our church went together and we had the most incredible time. Beautiful worship experiences and music, inspiring spirit led ministry from some of the best speakers from all over the world, silly fun times with new friends, great food and a final night celebration party that I will never forget! Thank you to my sweet husband for treating me to this blessed experience! I love you!

As soon as I returned home I couldn't get enough hugs and love from my family!

We headed straight out the door and off to a photo shoot.

I was scheduled to meet up with one of my favorite college friends, Lisa! Yay!!! She and her family just moved back to Texas from the Washington, D.C. area and I was super excited to see them and get to do family photos in the bluebonnets!

Of course, the girls just had to get dressed up too in case mommy had time to do their pictures after the photo shoot. :)

Well.... absolutely!!!

At first, Zoe was not thrilled with the "pokey" grass. But once she got used to it and they ran around wild and played a bit they had a great time and I got a couple of shots that I would call "keepers".

These silly, happy girls light up our world.

Isn't is just awe inspiring how God shows us his utter joy, freedom and absolute perfect love through our children! My heart swells, it overflows! I cannot adequately express this feeling of gratitude!

Check out their "super dad"!  JUMP!!!

Zoe giggles and I melt. Her happy mischevious ways are such a sweet delight. I want to hold and hug and kiss her and keep her just this precious and little as long as possible. My babies are growing too fast on me.

Carley astonishes me with her compassion. She is so lovely. There is a light that shines through her gentle ways and pure heart.

Proverbs 27:19 says, "as in water face reflects face, so a man's heart reveals the man"

I pray that our hearts will be so centered on Jesus that we cannot help but reflect Him to others in place of our selves.
