Luau

Our children's ministry had a Luau for the kids to celebrate the start of summer.
Zoe and I went up early the Wednesday morning of the last week of school and helped Ms. Jenna (our fearless leader) and her two precious little boys decorate the kids building with tiki torches, grass skirts, flowers and tropical decor.
That evening the kids arrived. Yay! They did hoola hooping and limbo contests. They ate pineapple upside down cake, pigs in a blanked and drank tropical punch. They heard a bible story and read the children's book from the story "Heaven is for Real"

And here is a fun little game that Carley and Ms. Jenna both did. I forget what it is called but they put shower caps on their head and covered them in shaving cream and two teams of kids threw cheese balls at them to see which team could get the most cheese balls stuck in the shaving cream in a certain amount of time. Too funny.....and messy!
