Wednesday morning rambles

Conversation with Carley during wake up time:
Me "ooh, I think I see a little smile on that face this morning, somebody must have had a good night's sleep"
Carley rolls over and stretches pulling the covers up close around her neck and holds up one little finger, eyes still closed and says "just give me a moment to wake up all the way mom"
..... aww, love it when she wakes up in that happy little clever girl mood of hers.

A few minutes later.......

Getting Wednesday morning laundry started and hear another little voice calling "mama, mama"
Walk into Zoe's room to see her happy little face as she is bouncing up and down in her crib with her bunny in one hand and blanket in the other ready to get the day started.

So happy at this point that I went ahead and got up early to take a hot shower to get my day started since I stayed up till 2am working on projects!

What projects?
Well, I got asked by a couple of former students to create some "senior jeans" for Homecoming week. So a lot of cutting out fabric letters, ironing and adding bling.
I'm also working on making some new stuff for my etsy shop..... I'll be sending promotional stuff  (with a special discount code) soon so keep an eye out. If you want to be on my mailing list let me know.
And, I'm getting new tutorials put together about some of the Art pARTy projects I did for the girls.
among a few other things....

Yesterday I got to hang out with two really great new friends who are also stay at home moms. We went craft shopping and thrift store bargain hunting. Next week we're planning a craft day! Yay!

Back to this morning.....

So after dropping Carley off at school, Zoe and I were driving back home and she is eating her cheerios and humming in the back seat and I'm thinking "Wow, I LOVE this stay at home mom thing beyond words!"

We get back to the house, change out laundry and while getting breakfast I drop my second jar of the week on the kitchen floor (at least this one wasn't glass like the last one!) but it was messy... Mayo went splat all over the place... Abby tried to help clean it up.

Then I got a text from a friend who wants me to screenprint some t-shirts for a church group by this Saturday!
Sure, no problem.
I'll get right on it.
Oh, but I can't forget I've also got to get a silhouette portrait painted by next week and I still have to get the canvas made.
And, I'm hosting a party at my house on Sunday.
Ooh, don't forget that abstract painting I got hired to do too.
 (big sigh)
Never knew not working would be this busy! (this is sooo awesome)

Ummmm, what am I still doing sitting here on the computer! I better get up off my butt... break's over, time to check laundry and get back to work.
