Celebrating

We are celebrating:

• celebrating the close of a very eventful, crazy, wonderful, difficult, interesting, challenging, emotional, up and down, but overall really great school year
• celebrating the beginning of being a stay-at-home mom and full time artist/entrepreneur, WAHOO!!!!
• celebrating new life with our friends Zach and Ashley as they recently welcomed their new baby boy into the world
• celebrating putting on a totally awesome middle school art show with over 1000 artworks on display with my friend and fellow art teacher, Sandy
• celebrating going out with Sandy after said art show for a girls night and enjoying wine, cheese & crackers and great conversation at a local winery
• celebrating beginning some truly fantastic new friendships over the past few months
• celebrating putting aside and letting go of the negatives in favor of moving on to more positive things
• celebrating and remembering my amazing dad on June 3rd, his birthday, and sharing his memory with our girls
• celebrating the fact that we've already been to the pool 5 times in the past two weeks and taken friends with us almost each time - yay for summer fun in the water! Come for a visit, we'll take you too! :)
• celebrating the totally delicious "Campfire Chicken" we cooked out on the grill last night
• celebrating life and the overwhelming blessings God has granted us

There is so much to celebrate. I was recently reminded of how truly great a blessing our "ordinary days" are by a post on my friend Tiffany's blog. Thank you Tiffany. I hope that we will all stop and think about the things in our lives that are good and focus on those things..... what a better day it makes when we do.
