Sleepover Party!!!

Carley was so excited last night when she got to have a friend come for a sleepover for the first time.

• When Ava arrived they immediately went to playing in the backyard, blowing bubbles, swinging, going up and down the slide and playing in the playhouse.
• Then they came in and did "friendship arts&crafts" at the kitchen counter.
• Finally they worked up an appetite and daddy made them sandwiches for dinner.
• Later the girls got to make their own drinks and "trail mix" out of an assortment of snack goodies.
• We set up side tables in Carley's room and started a Barbe princess movie followed by Tangled.
• The girls played and watched the movies and they were so excited to be having a sleepover that they insisted that we "let them stay up All night".... they lasted till about midnight. :)

•  The next morning they were up shortly after 8am.
• They had a hearty breakfast (cereal) ha, ha
• And we all went out to work & play in the yard.
• Jeremy & I worked on the flowerbeds while the girls had a tea party and played in the sprinkler.
• And for a final sleepover activity......
• The girls painted some spectacular yard art stakes with metallic paints. Just lovely! Thank you girls!
