What a Week

The past week or so have been full of all kinds of fun around here.

Just to give you a few highlights:

• Spent a few mornings with two adorable munchkins while their devoted daddy worked hard at basketball camp and baseball camp
• Went to a friend's jewelry party and won some fabulous door prizes & offered to host a party for her next week
• Attended a fun and uplifting praise and worship concert in the park with the hubby & our kiddos

•  Set up a make shift "waterpark" in our backyard using a waterhose and an $8 inflatable pool

•  Then decided to head over to the big pool and swim with friends
• Followed that by bringing all our friends back with us to have a spontaneous little burger cookout party at our house
• Experienced so many blessings as we participated in IMPACT week with our church doing volunteer work throughout the week. The theme "love God, love oneanother"
• Took our girls and some friends to Camp Ignite for family fun, worship, music, food and.... a movie under the stars, sitting on a quilt on the grass under the great big Texas sky and breathing in a glorious summer night.

• Delighted in having Carley ask if she could do the dishes (She was actually excited to learn how and wants it to be one of her regular chores..... I don't know if it's possible to actually "burst" with joy but I almost did just that)

•  Giggled with delight watching Zoe play peek-a-boo with her daddy during dinner

•  And thanked God for our abundant and amazing gifts, as we tucked two of our most precious ones into bed.
