Grinch Party

Well hello there Mr. Grinch.

Zoe and I had the best time going to school with Carley the other day for her "Grinch Party"

As you can see, Zoe made herself right at home. That little girl honestly thinks she belongs in class with her sister. Like, "mom why haven't you been bringing me here every day?" And Carley was so sweet to her letting her sit  in her chair and color on her papers. The other kids liked it too. They were all asking Zoe if she wanted to play with them or sit with them or if she wanted a candy cane (which she totally did!)

All the parents brought green food to go with the theme and we had a very unique lunch buffet.
The Grinch himself even made a special appearance to hand out candy. (um, maybe a little creepy on the mask but the kids didn't seem to mind since he was giving out sweet treats)
Then came the gift exchange. The boys in one circle and girls in another. Everyone brought wrapped books  and they played a game like musical chairs passing them around till the music stopped then whatever you had in your hand was yours to open. They even let Zoe participate since there were a few extra books.
Carley got a book that was actually on her Christmas wish list that she sent to Santa, Wow! How cool is that! She couldn't believe that Santa surprised her early. ;)

Finally, the kids were all going to watch the Grinch movie and Carley asked if she could just go home early with us so we got her things together and she was standing by the door waiting and I was getting our food tray and looked over to see that Zoe had walked over to where the movie was getting started and she sat right down in the middle of the other kids and made herself comfortable like she was just going to stay, silly kid.

"Merry Grinchmas!"
