It's the most wonderful, magical time of year leading up to the most important birthday ever celebrated, the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
It's a time when we focus more on giving and loving others, on sharing special moments and making memories to cherish. A time of coming together with friends and family in fun and fellowship.
I know it's not always as peachy and perfect as we make it out to be on our greeting cards and facebook posts, but when you focus on the positives it's pretty darn awesome. We can let our differences, arguments, frustrations, emotional breakdowns, overspending, overeating, and stressing-out just fall to the wayside because there are more important things to put our focus on at this time of year, you know.
I really do hope you have had all the good "Hallmark Moments" this holiday and been spared any of the rotten, down-right awful or sad stuff, but if not then I hope the light of God's love in the gift of baby Jesus outshines any let-downs you might have experienced this holiday season. He is the true and ultimate Christmas miracle, praise God!
With so much love and sincere wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year,
Jackie
