Introducing Baby Isabel

Miracles happen all around us each day... this week I witnessed the miracle of a precious new life coming into the world.

Baby Isabel arrived Monday 12/12/11 at 3:30pm.

She weighed 8.0lbs and was 21 inches long.

She had a head full of hair and a great set of lungs and she is completely adorable! :-D

I was blown away by how amazing her mommy was! From the time she arrived at the birthing center it was less than two hours before Isabel was born. She did it all with such grace and inner strength.....   and no medication! Incredible!!!

Here's the sweet family all at home together not long after Isabel was born.

This first photo is so beautiful to me; it was the very first moment that mommy and baby saw each other face to face. The second photo is equally beautiful; daddy and daughter greeting one another.

 Here you can see Isabel's hair a little bit as she was being dressed in her "going home" outfit. Then she was all snuggled up tight and happy in her soft blankets and pink hat.

 After a little rest and all the necessary check-ups on mommy and baby Jodi and Chris were able to head home with the newest member of their family. Congratulations guys! Love you bunches!
