While I was away

While I was away Carley went off to her first week of 2nd grade.
It helped a little that I got to go to meet the teacher night with her before I left.
Jeremy coached his first home football game of the season...and had a big win! Yay!!
Nana took wonderful care of my girls and was a big help to Jeremy.
She even surprised me by steam cleaning and scrubbing my tile floors!
What an awesome gift, they looked brand new when I got home to my lovely clean house!

And thank you Papa for working on the girls ceiling fans and getting them to work again!
Jodi and Chris got settled into their new home.

....and when I got back Carley finally lost that front tooth she's been hanging on to all summer. The funny thing is Zoe kicked it out.
Don't worry it sounds worse than it was.
They were playing and rolling around on the floor being silly when it happened.
Carley was upset at first and then it was kinda funny so she was ok with it.
She had wanted it to come out at school so the nurse would give her a tooth shaped necklace to put it in.
So she saved it and took it to school with her the next day and "pretended" she lost it at school.
When she went to the nurse they were all out of the necklaces, so she got a little plastic treasure box instead.
That's what you get for "pretending" kiddo. lol
