Splat!

We blended up the most lovely batch of frozen peaches and strawberries. Zoe helped wash the fruit. She carefully squeezed the honey jar to add a bit of sweetness. We were on our way to having a special treat of homemade fruit roll ups. 

If the mixture had only not been too thick to spread. 

We only put it in the oven for a couple of minutes to warm it up to spread more easily. 

Who knew you actually needed to use an oven mit, I mean it was only set at 170^. But when my fingers grabbed hold of the edge of that pan......

SPLAT!

OH NOOOOOO!!!!!!

Well, now I guess I can teach her the art of cleaning an oven since our cooking lesson has come to an end. 

She says, "it's ok mommy, we can try again after we clean it". 

 Love my sweetie. 

Yes, we will be brave and try again for you my darling.
