Orlando & Our Day at Disney World Magic Kingdom

Our stay in Orlando was at a gorgeous resort called The Fountains. Our two bedroom villa was high on the seventh floor with a balcony overlooking the lake and fountains with one of the beautiful swimming pool areas in the distance. There were all kinds of fun things to enjoy at this resort. From the natural wildlife (ducks, huge turtles, ducks, fish, etc.) to the various walking paths, bridges, man-made sandy beaches and other amenities, there was plenty to keep us busy or relaxing....we did some of both.
We played a lot in the various pool areas, splash pad, slides, etc. Even got to take a lovely luxurious nap in the afternoon. It was a perfectly enjoyable day of recuperating before our 15 hour day at Disney!

Here is one of my favorite shots that I took of the castle.

And now a collection of photos from all the wonderful things we saw and did in the park....
One of Zoe's favorite things was the "miracle round" (merry-go-round) and Carley and Jeremy loved the Pirates of the Caribbean ride (it was so realistic, wow!). My favorite ride was "It's a Small World" (so magical and beautiful) which I think was mom's favorite too. But our all time favorite was certainly the incredible light show and fireworks on the castle at the end of the evening (but we'll get to that one later).

I know this next collage is too big and I hope you can see it all, but I had to make it bigger because at regular size they were just too tiny.
The kids had autograph books and got to meet several princesses and Disney characters.
I love the picture Jeremy took with Goofy.
Our favorite princess was Merida. She spent extra time with us since we were the last ones in line before she went on break. She showed Carley how to use her bow and played bears, growling and laughing with Zoe. She was just precious and made it very special for our girls.

This performance at the front of the castle was a fun start to our day.

Here is a scene from the gorgeous ride "It's a Small World" traveling through all different cultures.

The Swiss Family Robinson tree house. Super Cool

Pirates of the Caribbean

Renting a stroller like this for the day is definitely the way to go!

Love the various mosaic scenes from Cinderella in the castle.

Everywhere we turned there were cool things to see and do and so much to photograph.
It was difficult to narrow things down for my blog for sure.

Here's a cute one of grandma and the girls.
