Including the historic downtown square....voted most beautiful town square in Texas. Pretty cool.
The chic overpriced clothing stores and sparkling gift shops, the antiques and vintage wares, the hand crafted and artisan items....oh, how these things draw us in to peruse and touch and dream of actually having enough money to buy. Well sorta. But it certainly is fun to look around. The old-timey toy store was a favorite. Especially with the little spinny toy thingy that you spin and stare at for 15 seconds and it makes you see weird trippy things when you look at your hand after....yeah, I bought one of those.
One evening, the guys even took the kids and we were able to have a girls night!
My beautiful mother in law and sister in law and I took advantage and enjoyed some delicious wine and girl talk time at the Grape Creek Winery in downtown Georgetown.
We all took a tour underground in the Inner Space Caverns.
Brothers....best buds.
Nana and Papa and the grandkids.
Our little "crew of barkus" also had a good time together.
And as Brent would say,
"Apparently, a couple of them (which will remain unnamed) have their licker license." lol
And on the way home we topped it all off with a stop at the Little Czech Bakery.
Oh. my. good. gracious!
Their food is heavenly and sinful all in one bite.
If I lived any closer to this place I would certainly triple in size in a month or two. Wow, what a treat! My mouth is still watering at remembering the delightful stuffed breads, kolaches, and pastries
