.....well, technically it was back in August but I had all the pictures on my phone and kept forgetting to download and put them in a post. Ok. So I finally got around to it amidst the packing boxes piling up throughout my house these days.
Jodi and Chris decided to celebrate Katelyn's birthday at the circus in Ft. Worth this year because she loves the circus and they just happened to be in town.....and we got to go too!
We rode the DART train from Plano down to the TRE train all the way to the convention center in Ft. Worth. It was pretty cool.
Jodi even made homemade strawberry banana nut bread to eat on the way. Can I just say YUMMM!!! And she's such a good mommy she even brought little travel coloring books and crayons. I'm not sure I even had a tic tac in my purse to satisfy my little ones (is it just me or do kids always get hungry and thirsty as soon as you are on your way somewhere?!?)
The circus was truly one of the greatest shows on earth as advertised.
The costumes, the acrobats, the animals and all the spectacular stunts....we talked about it for days after!
Katelyn, we sure hope you enjoyed your Circus Birthday, because we certainly enjoyed being there with you sweet girl!! Love you.
