100th Day of School!

Today is the 100th Day of School and we're celebrating with a very special shirt.

Carley and I talked about our ideas for a 100th Day of School shirt design last night and we narrowed it down to either a crown with 100 treasures glued on it or a circus tent made with 100 colorful ribbons. I love the one she chose! We worked together at the kitchen table choosing, cutting and gluing ribbons on in the pattern we designed. It took forever! But we love the results! And it just didn't look quite finished without adding a special little dancing girl (sketched on with black puff paint) with a red flower and little turquoise feather for a skirt.

I hope she has the most wonderful day today. I think they are going to do a little parade through the school in their special shirts. How fun! :oD
