It was Friday night and it was going to be a "girl's night" at our house since daddy was at a baseball tournament so we decided to hit our new favorite place for an evening packed with adventure....... the Library!
Thank you to my sweet friend Jennifer for introducing us to this local treasure located in a small town only a few miles down the road from us. We have already been back three times in less than two weeks. :) *Daddy went with us last weekend and loved it too.
I picked up a great new two part series (also recommended by Jennifer) and I've enjoyed it immensely. I had to re-check it out tonight because I'm half way through the second book and I want to let my mom read them when I finish.
The girls got an array of children's books for our bedtime reading.
When we got home we started one of the movies we checked out.... Journey to the Center of the Earth, and while the girls snacked on popcorn I cooked dinner.
After dinner we made chocolate chip cookies and put candy sprinkles on them!
The girls were so engaged in watching the other movie we checked out....
What a truly FaNtAsTicaL adventure!!!! LOVE this classic family movie!
Next up..... reading some of our books before bedtime. Yay!
